Note: I stay away from describing the plot in detail, because it is very difficult to do that without spoiling elements of it will be. Inside Man starts as open-minded, high-octane action-thriller, by their environment completely converted in style, tongue-in-cheek Heist film, reminiscent of Sting. I thought it was a bit over-turned, but it comes with the genre - the expected twists are all here, happy mainly in unanticipated ways. Ingenuity in abundance, and we did not really learn the background of the attack (ie robbers learned about their target), but the story and atmosphere more than make up. The carefully designed plot also compensate for the lack of true 3D characterization - but ambitious agent Denzel Washington hero at least a degree of humanity reached in the story. The character interaction between him and his sidekick (Chiwetel Ejiofor in Serenity fame) and plays a frustrated Captain Willem Dafoe is great with some sparkling dialogue. Clive Owen is fine most of the time convincing a criminal mastermind, though he bear most of the film a mask. Id say that this film is harmless fun, not the usual fare Spike Lee, who went to prove. Its versatility There is a hint in the back-story on some difficult issues in the past, but are nothing more than just a MacGuffin that achieved some minor importance for addressing the film. There is a neat structural fraud in the use of flash-forward scenes, referring to the aftermath of the raid, without giving away the right end. His sparingly and wisely. Can highly recommend this film, it's never dull for a moment, do more, I enjoyed it so much that as events are progressing towards a climax, I wish it would continue. And it is very rare for me in movies nowadays.
